Weather vanes

As part of our science study, we made weather vanes. We used paper plates, pencils, pins, cardboard and blue tack. We watched a You Tube clip to see how we made them and then went outside to test them. We used the compass bearings that were painted behind Room 25 to set our compasses north. We found out that there was a north easterly blowing on the day we tested them. A fun and interesting activity.
